Job summary

Plumas District Hospital seeks an experienced emergency/critical care nurse to provide high-level medical care for sick and injured patients in an EMS and pre-hospital context. You will operate under supervision, meet California RN requirements, and participate in ongoing education to maintain licensure and certifications.

This per diem, non-benefited role offers base pay with step-based progression and potential shift differentials and holiday pay; job involves work in Lassen or Plumas Counties

Qualifications

• Three (3) years full-time critical care and/or emergency nursing experience.
• Must possess basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in flight medicine, EMS and public education (field or classroom based)

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to sick and injured under supervision.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
• Assess and manage patients in critical care and pre-hospital settings.
