Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a per diem Mental Health Associate to work the evening shift at Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH), Princeton, NJ. The role supports nursing staff and contributes to a safe, therapeutic milieu for patients in Wing 6 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych).

Required are a BA/BS degree and BLS within 3 months of hire, plus a valid driver’s license. The position offers weekend work with a 3PM–11:30PM schedule and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
• Participates as a member of the treatment team to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu.

Education

Bachelor of Arts or Science (required)

Education specialization: Social Science preferred

Tools

Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
