Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a full-time Mental Health Associate to work the evening shift in Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH), Wing 3 with 28 beds for detox and dual diagnosis. The role supports Registered Nurses in delivering direct psychiatric and medical care, and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu as part of the treatment team.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Arts or Science, Social Science preferred, BLS within 3 months of hire, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science is required.
• Education specialization: Social Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
• Participate as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
