Job summary

Qualifications

• California RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP required; trauma certification within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred; within 12 months from hire.
• ICS courses listed: ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS-700.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in emergency or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records, perform daily base checks and narcotics inventory control.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from first contact to handoff; maintain thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency and ongoing education; participate in department activities and EMS committees.
• Mentor and orient new employees; participate in continuing education programs; may instruct classes per management directions.
