First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support.

ER RN responsibilities include triage, monitoring patients, administering medications, coordinating care with physicians, and documentation. Active RN license and 2 years ER experience are required, with BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience recommended.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
