Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for our new 29-bed Emergency Department. This fast-paced, high-acuity ED requires strong assessment, critical thinking and independent decision-making to safely expedite patient care.

You will chart on an ED-specific electronic system and work with board-certified physicians, unit clerks and ancillary staff. ACLS and PALS are required, with TNCC a plus; orientation is provided to align with experience and comfort

Qualifications

• ACLS and PALS required; TNCC a plus.
• ED nursing experience preferred; strong assessment skills.
• Ability to think critically and make independent decisions.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED.
• Triage and assess acutely ill patients and initiate care.
• Document care on ED-specific electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, unit clerks and ancillary staff.
