Job summary

Northwestern Medical Center is seeking an endocrinologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders. The physician will diagnose, treat, and follow up on conditions affecting the endocrine system, including diabetes and thyroid diseases, with emphasis on patient education and coordination of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Vermont.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Experience in endocrinology clinical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow up for patients in Northwestern Medical Center’s Endocrinology program.
• Orders appropriate lab and diagnostic procedures and studies.
• Interprets and integrates data to deliver therapeutic goals.
• Utilizes referral services when appropriate.
• Provides education to patients on acute and chronic care of condition.
