Sherman Oaks Hospital is actively seeking a per diem Emergency Medical Technician. The role involves assessing and managing medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under supervision, and assisting with patient care and a safe environment according to the ED nursing and physician team.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, Basic EMT training, and current BLS. ACLS and PALS certificates and state EMT licensure are also required or maintained after hire.

Qualifications

• Education and work experience required for EMT roles.
• EMT training and emergency care certifications are required.
• State EMT licensure and current BLS/ACLS/PALS are expected.

Responsabilités

• Assess and manage medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under supervision.
• Support patient care within scope of practice and maintain safety.
