Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably ICU.
  • Leadership experience with EEG technologists is preferred.

Job description

EEG Clinical Manager works with company management in building and maintaining business relationships with customers and physicians to grow and retain accounts. Manages one or more accounts or programs in a specific geographic area to achieve or exceed operational and financial targets. Performs Electroencephalography (EEG) services on a regular basis and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission standards, the Company’s policies, applicable policies at the account(s) or program(s), and other applicable regulatory requirements. Serves as liaison to the Company’s business office.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Create and distribute team schedules, coordinate associate coverage and manage PTO.
  2. Develop, distribute and manage service request instructions and processes.
  3. Generate procedural and compliance manuals and MSDS postings.
  4. Maintain labs within inspection standards.
  5. Coordinate equipment needs, repairs and inspections.
  6. Track, manage and maintain inventory volumes and compliance.
  7. Ensure all credentialing and access requirements are met.
  8. Coordinate lab and locker accesses.
  9. Track quality metrics and address those that do not meet targets.
  10. Perform case and clinical audits.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  12. Maintain and modify all administrative and clinical documents.
  13. Oversee and approve timesheet entries.
  14. Evaluate staffing needs and track utilization and efficiencies.
  15. Recruit, hire and on-board new hires.
  16. Submit User Access Requests for associates.
  17. Provide clinical and administrative team member training.
  18. Ensure team members maintain certification & registration requirements.
  19. Review and approve expense reports.
  20. Set and track team performance behaviors and goals.
  21. Perform clinical competency and performance evaluations.
  22. Build and maintain client relationships.
  23. Generate and present clients with clinical quality reports.
  24. Perform client satisfaction surveys.
  25. Contribute to contract proposals and renewals.
  26. Address adverse events, send reports & develop corrective policies/ procedures.
  27. Meet budget targets via efficiencies, expense management and waste reduction.
  28. Work with company & client billing departments on invoicing, payments & issues.
  29. Provide clinical coverage as needed.

  31. Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

  1. Holds current R. EEG T. certification from ABRET.
  2. Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program, preferred.
  3. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  4. Proof of immunization and other health testing where required.

Experience:

  1. Five (5) years of experience in hospital setting, preferably ICU.
  2. Experience leading other EEG technologists, preferred.
