Job summary

Requirements include CA EMT or CNA certification and BLS provider certification; ideally 1 year of healthcare experience in emergency services. Located in San Diego, CA, at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Qualifications

• State-issued (CA) EMT or CNA certification.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in the ED/Urgent Care under supervision.
• Perform vital signs assessment, basic wound care, dressings and splints, and specimen collection as directed.
• Transport patients and provide coverage for the unit secretary.
