Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks per diem Emergency Radiologists to read ED studies on-site or remotely across hospitals. Multiple shifts are available (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a) with a hybrid schedule that includes remote reading days while onsite presence is required.

The department comprises ~80 radiologists, supports substantial research funding, and uses advanced imaging systems (AGFA PACS, EPIC EMR, Powerscribe 360). Fellowship in Emergency Radiology is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read ED radiology studies
• Comfort interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound and basic nuclear medicine
• Fellowship in Emergency Radiology is desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Work at the University campus with one resident and/or one Emergency Radiology fellow
• Remotely cover several other hospitals as needed
• Provide on-site presence with hybrid remote reading days
• Read CT, MRI, ultrasound and basic nuclear medicine studies
