UNC Health Care is seeking experienced echo and vascular technologists to join our UNC Medical Center Hillsborough lab. This per diem role offers scheduling flexibility across Chapel Hill and Hillsborough locations.

Responsibilities include echo/vascular examinations, patient care, and equipment maintenance, with opportunities for CME-conference participation. ARDMS/CCI registration within one year and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Sonography or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program.
• ARDMS/CCI eligibility and registration within 1 year of hire; maintain CE requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsabilités

• Performs echo and/or vascular ultrasound evaluations.
• Ensures equipment is calibrated and maintained daily; reports issues.
• Generates ultrasound images of heart and vascular structures.
• May participate in staff training and education.
• Maintains patient data, reports, and charge entry records; retrieves stored data.
• Prepares procedure room and equipment; ensures timely room turnover.
