Job summary

Alfred University is seeking a campus shuttle driver to transport students and trustees to and from local airports, rail stations, and bus stops including Rochester, Elmira and Buffalo. The role may include student field trips and local campus shuttles, with duties extending to other tasks where a driver is needed.

The compensation includes $20.00 per hour, with $30 per hour for drives after 1 AM, and a focus on safety and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Must have a class D license with minimal infractions.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Comfortable with up to 14 passengers.
• Must have a cellular phone and the ability to map and find locations.
• Comfortable with inner-city traffic conditions and maneuverability.

Job description

This driving position consists of shuttling students, and trustees to and from local airports, train stations and bus stops such as Rochester, Elmira, and occasionally Buffalo. Also, may include student field trips, local campus shuttles, and other tasks where a driver is needed.

Salary/Rate: $20.00 per hour; $30 per hour for drivers driving after 1AM

• Must have a cellular phone available, and the ability to map and find locations
