Job summary

BAART Program is seeking a detail-oriented LPN/LVN to dispense prescribed medications within a treatment team. You will support physicians and nursing supervisors, maintain dispensing equipment, and manage inventory in a compliant, patient-centered setting.

Ideal candidates have CA LPN/LVN licensure, CPR, and experience with chemical dependency. Per diem position with BayMark Health Services' program, offering a pathway to contribute to recovery in an outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in California.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems; calibrate pumps and maintain equipment.
• Keep records and reports per company policy and regulations.
• Ensure security standards for controlled substances per CFR.
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA/state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor in orienting new staff.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
