Summary:

  • Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in all food service areas, operating dish machines, pot washing, general cleaning, and use of kitchen equipment.
  • Responsible for stocking and storing food and supplies, delivering floor stock, and patient trays.
  • Providing an exceptional, caring, and compassionate experience for patients, their families, visitors, and guests.
  • Achieving patient satisfaction scores according to departmental goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport food carts and equipment courteously and professionally following departmental procedures.
  • Deliver par stock supplies, clean according to policies, operate dish and pot washing equipment, and monitor temperatures.
  • Protect patient confidentiality, transport and restock tray supplies, and maintain cleanliness of chemical, trash, and linen rooms.
  • Complete all cleaning assignments, follow safety and sanitation regulations, and participate in emergency and safety drills.
  • Maintain a pleasant demeanor, wear proper identification and uniform, and uphold a sanitary working environment.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
