Job summary

North Beach Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide on a per diem basis in North Miami Beach, Florida. The role focuses on preparing and serving meals and beverages while ensuring residents receive appropriate diets and excellent care.

You will assist with food prep, kitchen cleanliness, inventory, and collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team to meet dietary needs and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or dietary aide is preferred.
• Ability to prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Commitment to cleanliness and proper sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents
• Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables, meat preparation, and plating
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following sanitation procedures
• Support inventory, ordering supplies, and stock management
• Work with residents, families, and the healthcare team to meet dietary needs
• Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and implement menus and ensure timely meal service
