Job summary

The Sonographer Staff at University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center performs routine and complex imaging using high-frequency ultrasound. This role requires ARDMS registration and completion of a CAHEP-accredited program.

Per diem differential is included in pay. A minimum of 24 months of ultrasound experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on accurate, tailored imaging for each patient and collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• AR/ARDMS registration is required with ABD or OB/GYN credential.
• Graduate of a certified CAAHEP program in diagnostic medical sonography or radiologic technology.
• Minimum 24 months of ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex ultrasound exams with high-frequency transducers.
• Customize imaging windows to obtain diagnostic images tailored to the patient.
• Maintain ARDMS certification and follow radiology department standards.
