Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. seeks a Temp, per diem Dentist to provide high-quality dental care at Alpine/Campo clinics. The role is hourly, with DOE compensation between $75.26 and $101.59 per hour, and requires CA licensure and DEA registration.

The position supports community health services, collaborates with the Dental Director and staff, and offers flexible hours Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM as needed; per diem attendance expected.

Qualifications

• CA State Dental License required.
• Minimum 2 years private or clinical practice experience.
• Experience with NextGen preferred.
• CA Radiation Safety Certification required.
• DEA Controlled Substances Registration current.
• CPR Certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental care within licensure and standards.
• Treat SIHC patients at designated clinics; rotate as needed.
• Stay updated with new dental techniques.
• Coordinate and supervise staff during patient care.
• Maintain clear communication with staff.
• Participate in IHS and state reviews.
• Document in patient charts with correct codes.
• Contribute to quality improvement plan.
• Advise patients on after-hours emergencies.
• Follow SIHC policies.
• Flex schedule may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
