Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for per diem shifts in Golden Valley, MN. The position offers 1–2 shifts per week with a $40.00 per hour compensation and day shifts with rotating call potential.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, correct positioning, CT image acquisition, contrast administration, and QA on equipment. Minimum qualifications require ARRT or CMRT certification, current state license, BLS, and 2+ years as a Radiologic Technologist plus 1 year CT experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist with current state license.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• ARRT or CMRT certification required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maintain continuing education in licensure fields.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures and ensure comfort.
• Position patients correctly and optimize image quality.
• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by the physician.
• Monitor for adverse drug events and report as needed.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and address basic malfunctions.
