Qualifications

• Associate Degree or completion of an accredited Technical Program.
• Radiologic Technologist (Temporary) Permit required at time of hire.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist IV License required within 180 days of permit issuance.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography required within 180 days of hire.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography required within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform medically prescribed CT procedures.
• Ensure compliance with imaging protocols and standards.
• Assess patient history and condition for appropriate procedures.
• Document exam details including appointment times and patient reports.
• Demonstrate competency in CT equipment operation.
