Position Summary: Under general direction performs a variety of CT procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs related work as required.

Required Qualifications

• Current CA State Radiology Certification.
• Current CA State Fluoroscopy Certification.
• Registered as a Computed Tomography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to successful performance of assigned duties.
• Must demonstrate customer‑service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system.
• Must be able to provide proof of work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of acute‑care hospital experience as a Radiology Technician and CT Technician.
• Knowledge of university and medical‑center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.

Physical Requirements

• Transport objects by holding them in hands or arms.
• Perceive the nature of sounds by ears.
• Express ideas by means of spoken word and have visual acuity and depth perception.
• Move about by foot.
• Ability to lift/pull patients.
