Job summary

The University of California, Irvine is seeking a skilled individual to perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnoses. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and customer service skills while maintaining effective relationships across the Health System.

Qualifications

Job description

Position Summary

Under the general direction performs a variety of C.T. procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply ionizing radiation for diagnoses. Performs related work as required.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• Valid CA State Certification License in unlimited diagnostic radiology services
• CPR Certification required
• Valid ARRT certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• 1-2 years experience in CT scanning
• Venipuncture Certificate
