Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Per Diem CT Scan Technologist to join the Imaging department. The role requires 1–3 years of CT experience, ARRT registration, NJ licensure, and advanced CT registry. Travel to satellite locations may be required, and the position offers flexible per diem scheduling with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include performing CT exams, ensuring image quality, patient safety, and collaboration with Radiologists. Per diem shifts may include weekend coverage and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT).
• Advanced CT registry required.
• Graduated from an accredited Radiology program.
• Licensed by NJ State DEP.
• Registered ARRT (Radiography) required.
• BLS certification required; IV certification preferred.
• Proficient with RIS and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations with sound understanding of positioning and protocols to optimize results.
• Follows departmental protocol and communicates with Radiologist.
• Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation and patient safety.
• Operates CT equipment safely and assists in contrast administration.
• Maintains room cleanliness and adheres to infection control standards.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed.
