Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Valid Florida RN/CRNA license or eligibility; National Board Certification (AANA).
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS required.
• 1–3 years of related anesthesia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in pre-anesthetic evaluation and documents findings.
• Forms a patient-specific anesthesia care plan with attending anesthesiologist.
• Monitors and adjusts physiologic status according to anesthesia type.
• Recognizes abnormal responses and takes appropriate action.
• Provides preoperative and postoperative care per protocol.
• Communicates anesthesia-related information to recovery staff.
