Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Valid Florida RN/CRNA license or eligibility.
• National Board Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Participates and documents pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
• Formulates a patient-specific anesthesia plan with the attending anesthesiologist.
• Monitors and adjusts physiologic status for anesthesia type and patient needs.
• Recognizes abnormal responses and takes appropriate action.
• Provides observation, monitoring and resuscitation en route to recovery.
• Ensures continuity of care and patient safety post-operatively.
• Supports OR procedures and assists with professional development of others.
