Job summary

Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA is seeking a Critical Care Tech (CCT) to support PACU and Surgical Day Care operations. You will assist nurses, transport patients, and help with routine tests under RN direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA BLS required.
• Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or CCT, EMT experience may qualify in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support nurses and perioperative staff to facilitate patient flow.
• Transport patients and obtain vital signs and basic tests as directed.
• Assist with admission, discharge and specimen collection as needed.
• Maintain supplies and assist with room turnover and safety checks.
