Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN in progress or willing to complete within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care or ED nursing experience.
• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practices and standards of care.
• Communicate patient status and plans with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications using barcode scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
