Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma required.
• BSN in progress or within 3 years of hire.
• Current NJ RN license and BLS/CPR within 60 days of hire.
• National certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data on patient health.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments.
• Recognize status changes and adjust care plan accordingly.
• Develop and implement a plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Communicate and coordinate with the care team and families.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation tools.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes and initiate interventions as needed.
• Adhere to protocols and document events accurately.
