Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled Creative Arts Therapist to join our team serving the Westchester area and New York City communities. This contract position involves delivering individual and group art, dance, and drama therapy tailored to patients’ needs.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy and active licensure, plus experience with medically fragile populations. Ukrainian language is preferred, with flexible scheduling and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy, Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, or related field.
• Registered or licensed Creative Arts Therapist.
• Child Life Specialist certification through the Child Life Council.
• Experience working with the Medically Fragile population.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for using the arts to promote healing and well-being.
• Ukrainian-speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual creative arts therapy sessions (art, dance, drama, etc.).
• Design and implement creative therapy programs tailored to patients' needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Keep detailed records of therapy sessions and progress.
• Create a safe, engaging space for self-expression through the arts.
