Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness is actively seeking a Creative Arts Therapist to join our care team in the Westchester Area and NYC boroughs. This per diem 1099 contractor role focuses on using art, dance, drama, and other modalities to help children and patients express emotions and cope with health challenges.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy or related field, is registered/licensed, and has experience with medically fragile populations.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's in Creative Arts Therapy or related field.
• Registered or licensed Creative Arts Therapist.
• Child Life Specialist certification (preferred).
• Experience withMedically Fragile population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual creative arts therapy sessions (art, dance, drama, etc.).
• Design and implement therapy programs tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Keep detailed records of sessions and progress.
• Create a safe space for self-expression through the arts.
