Laredo Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Ernest Health, Inc., is seeking a COTA to join our team of patient caregivers in Laredo, Texas. This role supports intensive rehabilitation for diverse conditions under an experienced, multilingual team.

You will work under an occupational therapist to deliver rehabilitative services, monitor patient progress, and uphold our mission and guiding principles in daily practice. Competitive benefits and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
• Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
