Gulfport Nursing Center in Pasadena, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our 118-bed skilled nursing team. You will assist with individualized treatment plans, communicate progress, and support residents’ independence and mobility.

Qualified candidates hold an associate's degree in OTA, Florida COTA certification, and relevant experience. A valid driver’s license is preferred for facility-based visits and transportation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
• Current Florida COTA certification.
• Experience in the field of occupational therapy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if necessary.

Responsabilités

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.
• Provide educational and therapeutic activities to promote resident independence and mobility.
• Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress.
