Job summary

Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Clemmons, NC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. You will work under a licensed OT to deliver patient care and support restorative/home programs, contributing to interdisciplinary meetings and care conferences.

Key duties include treating patients per the treatment plan, maintaining productivity, and collaborating with nursing staff, families, and other departments

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program.
• Current licensure/registration as PTA or OTA.
• Ability to speak English clearly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and families.
• Maintain productivity and meet care plan goals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and resident care conferences.
• Instruct families and nursing staff on restorative/home programs.
