Job summary

Regency Hospital Company is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a per diem position in Springdale, AR. The role offers a $35.00 per hour compensation and focuses on inpatient post-ICU care for chronically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery.

You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, treating patients with complex needs, conducting individualized therapy regimens, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 90 days as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Occupational Therapist and treat patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.
• Conduct individual therapy regimens under the supervision of an OT.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify treatment during sessions in collaboration with an OT.
• Complete documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
