Securitas is seeking an on-call Security Officer for a Per Diem shift in Plainsboro, NJ. The role involves performing unarmed security duties, engaging with clients, and maintaining a safe environment. Weekend and night shifts are mandatory with rotating schedules as needed.

The position requires a valid SORA license, a driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Compensation is $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable means of communication (pager or phone).
• Must have a Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must have legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• High School Diploma or GED; SORA license required for this position.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Securitas Team as an on-call Security Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.SORA License is required for this security position.
