Per Diem Organ Procurement Coordinator - Liver Transplant - Weill Cornell Medical Center

At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving and Weill Cornell Medical Centers, our complex cases consistently achieve top outcomes. Join a team working with some of the brightest healthcare professionals to improve patient care. This role requires a strong commitment to excellence and professionalism.

Our Organ Procurement Coordinators collaborate directly with patients and transplant teams to facilitate successful organ retrievals. You'll work alongside leading clinicians, directly impacting patient outcomes. This position involves supporting our liver transplantation teams at Columbia & Weill Cornell, covering 24/7 shifts of 8-hour durations, with a minimum of 1-2 shifts per week. There are 2 positions available.

Preferred Criteria

  • Knowledge of Epic & DonorNet software
  • Understanding of patient care and organ procurement processes

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma/GED plus Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • EMT, Paramedic, LPN, or similar clinical background
  • Experience in acute care or emergency management
  • Knowledge of inotropic support, pressor support, echocardiogram reports, CXR, hemodynamics, and trauma mechanisms
  • Ability to self-manage and multitask in an interdisciplinary environment
