Job summary

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA is seeking a part-time/per diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/C.N.A.) to join the nursing team. The role supports residents with activities of daily living and works under the plan of care.

Per diem positions offer competitive hourly pay with shift differentials, plus convenient on-site parking and transit access. Opportunity for status change to part-time or full-time as available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Has basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
• Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provide all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
• Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible.
• Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
