Alameda Health System seeks an AHD Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care in Alameda, CA, including Alameda Hospital and AHD Telemetry services. The role is per diem with a small FTE and pays $37.78–$40.78 per hour.

Under close supervision, the CNA performs routine inpatient and outpatient tasks that do not require a nursing license, assists with meals, hygiene, vital signs, and patient safety, and supports clinical staff across hospital settings.

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma or GED with additional training.
• Minimum of six months experience in a sub-acute or acute care setting.
• BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification.

Mansioni

• Assists patients with meals, personal hygiene and incontinent care.
• Answers call lights promptly and ensures patient comfort and safety.
• Takes vital signs and assists with examinations or treatments.
• Observes patient condition and reports deviations to the nurse.
