Job summary

Bushwick Center Adult Day Care, part of Centers Health Care, seeks licensed Certified Nursing Assistants to join per diem team members at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY. You will assist residents with personal care, document intake, and support nursing staff in daily operations.

This per diem role offers flexibility to fit around other commitments while contributing to high-quality resident care in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• Must complete a CNA program.
• Valid NY State Certification.
• In good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bed ridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
