Qualifications

One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
Performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services to meet personal needs and comforts of patients.
