Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks a certified nursing assistant to perform patient care/service activities under supervision of licensed staff. Must hold a Nevada CNA license and BLS certification, with education/experience to obtain CNA certification as required by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

The role requires readiness to work varied per diem shifts and deliver compassionate care appropriate to patient age groups on the assigned unit.

Qualifications

• Education or experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada NSBN.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care/service appropriate to patient age group.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
