Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts in Henderson, NV. You will perform patient care activities under supervision, in accordance with Nevada Nurse Practice Act and state board guidelines.

Requirements include NV CNA certification, current BLS, and the ability to provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to patients across units.

Qualifications

• Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada State Board of Nursing.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care/service appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.
• Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
