Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Connecticut CNA certification or completion within 120 days of course.

• Ability to speak and read English to communicate with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed nurse, performs basic nursing care procedures.
• observes and communicates patient condition to staff.
• Takes and records vital signs as needed.
• Documents care on worksheets/EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintains cooperative relationships with care team and adheres to infection control practices.
• Supports residents' psychosocial needs and attends mandatory training.
