Job summary

AMI in Brick, Toms River, Neptune and Manahawkin seeks a Per Diem Certified Medical Assistant to provide hands-on clinical care in the Vascular Institute. You will perform wound care, dressing changes, and vital sign assessments, including ABI measurements, with precise documentation in the EMR.

You will support patient transfers, room turnover, and basic clerical duties while delivering clear post-visit education and compassionate customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CCMA or RMA certification required.
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience with vascular, post-op, or wound care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs wound care and dressing changes with precise documentation.
• Measures vitals including ABI and documents patient responses.
• Assists with patient transfers and room turnover using lift devices.
• Gathers and inputs detailed patient histories into the EMR.
• Provides clear post-visit education and patient instructions.
