Job summary

Youth Consultation Service is seeking a Per Diem Clinician to provide supportive and therapeutic services within youth residential programs in Northern New Jersey. The role involves assessments, therapy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should hold a relevant master’s or doctoral degree and have a license to practice independently in NJ.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling or related field.
• Must hold a licensed social worker credential for independent practice.
• Masters level therapist licensed to practice under supervision is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Complete Strengths and Needs, and Biopsychosocial (BSP) assessments.
• Develop and implement safety/soothing plans with youth and staff.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Document treatment-related information in Electronic Clinical Record.
