Job summary

UCI Health seeks a Staff Pharmacist to handle day-to-day drug distribution, verify doses, and process sterile and non-sterile prescriptions. You’ll perform drug therapy monitoring, provide information to staff and patients, and precept residents and students as assigned.

The role requires PharmD, CA license, BLS/ACLS, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited school.
• California Pharmacist License in good standing.
• BLS or ACLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Distribute drugs and verify doses for appropriateness.
• Process sterile and non-sterile prescription orders.
• Provide drug information and patient consultations.
• Monitor therapies and support drug compounding.
• Direct technicians and supervise residents/students.
• Perform inventory control and off-site readiness.
