Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a per diem, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and clinical services. You will mentor staff, support daily operations, and assist the Director in optimizing performance.

Pharmacist license (NV) and ability to travel up to 50% to 5 Las Vegas sites are required. Hourly pay ranges from $44 to $79. Benefits and professional development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from ACPE-accredited pharmacy school.
• Active unrestricted Pharmacist license for NV.
• Proficient with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office.
• Travel up to 50% to one of the 5 sites within Las Vegas market.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including pharmacotherapy management and dosing monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize regimens.
• Monitor patient outcomes and medication safety; identify adverse events.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance (DNV, state, federal).
