Job summary

The Clinical Nurse Educator - Faculty at MaineHealth supports nursing students by facilitating clinical learning opportunities and helping students meet program requirements. This role collaborates with the Nursing Academics Department to align clinical instruction with MaineHealth learning outcomes and NCLEX-RN eligibility.

The educator may assist in curriculum development feedback, participate in evaluation planning, and adapt to day/evening/weekend schedules based on school/unit needs.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing or a BSN degree matriculating into a Master’s degree required.
Current RN license in applicable state(s) required.
Certification in Nursing Education and/or Nursing Professional Development preferred.
BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Facilitate clinical learning opportunities for nursing students to meet academic outcomes.
Provide feedback for undergraduate Nursing program curriculum development.
Support implementation of clinical evaluation plans across undergraduate programs.
