Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
• Fingerprinting certification may be required by DHS.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical lab staff with specimen collection, receipt and processing.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and perform waived/moderate complexity testing where allowed.
• Maintain specimen integrity and accurate labeling; monitor pending lists and QC where applicable.
• Support inventory and supply usage; participate in training and updates of procedures.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers and participate in staff meetings.
