Job summary

Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, NV is seeking a per diem Clinical Lab Assistant and/or phlebotomist to support laboratory staff with specimen collection, receipt, and processing, including preparation for testing and limited waived/moderate complexity work.

Under supervision, you will help with quality control, inventory management, and general department duties, and may perform phlebotomy as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 18+ for phlebotomy.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical lab staff with specimen collection and processing.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and assist with waived/moderate complexity testing.
• Participate in quality control, inventory management, and training duties.
• Perform phlebotomy and other support duties as assigned.
